What Are Connections?
Connections in nature are when one thing or a group of things affects the enviroment or another living thing in a positive or negative way. For example, Poison Ivy exudes a chemical that causes a rash on contact. And while the tomato is good for you, it’s close cousin, the plant nightshade, is extremely poisonous. the Sun makes connections with water: when the sun heats the water, causing it to evaporate. the water vapour rises and condenses into clouds, which then rain down on plants and animals.

For a class assignment, we were supposed to make Glogs that try to persuade the reader to switch to CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs). We used Glogster to create a poster that touts all the good things about the CFLs. The link to the glog is below.
